Two Camps at Lake George Regional Park!
No screens! Just fresh air and fun with old and new friends! Camp Podooc is a day-camp conducted on the WEST side of Lake George Regional park that runs in 2 distinct 2-week sessions for area youth, grades 1-6. 9:00-2:30. Campers experience swim lessons, outdoor field games, nature crafts, environmental education and more. Free lunch available.
Session dates for the 2020 season are as follows:
No busing, parents provide transportation directly to Lake George. (Drop off 8:45, pick up 2:30)
Note, due to Covid 19 Pandemic, there will be 4 one week sessions instead of 2 two week sessions.

Skowhegan resident – $155 per session
Non-resident fee.- $185 per session

Registration: Due to Covid 19 there will be no online registration this year. Our sessions are limited to 42 campers per session. Registration for sessions will be held at the park office on RT. 2 at 10 Main St., Canaan. Dates and times for registration are: June 18-19 5pm-7pm, June 22-26 5pm-7pm. Lake George Recreation Camp

Learn key skills for outdoor fun! This new camp will focus on introduction to various outdoor recreation activities such as paddling, mountain biking, and hiking, just to name a few. The camp, for 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls and boys is generously supported by Redington Fairview General Hospital.
All activities will work from an introductory platform and will include mountain biking, swimming, paddling, hiking instruction and more.
Date: August 3-7 limited slots available Cost: $125.00

Park Policy: Lake George Regional Park is a public park. It will remain open to the public during camp hours. Only staff and campers are authorized to be part of camp activities during camp. If you are a park member or choose to pay the park fee, we ask that you follow park rules and keep a respectful distance from camp activities. Swimming on the West Side is not available to the public during camp hours. If you wish to swim at this time please use the East Side of the Park.
