Community Clean Up Days at Lake George Regional Park
May 19 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Spring is in the air, and we are organizing to beautify the park, grounds, and buildings at Lake George Regional Park for the peak season. In what we hope to be an annual tradition, join the board, park staff, intern rangers, your friends, and neighbors for a good-old fashioned “work-party weekend.” We’d love to work alongside you to to eliminate years of debris, put a fresh coat of stain on the signage, clear the brush, fallen trees and winter trash.

Projects will be staged for the weekend (suitable for all skills and abilities), so come for a whole day, or an hour or two, rain or shine!! Bring gloves, and your favorite tools, and check in with a volunteer coordinator at the West (Skowhegan) Side gate. Message us if you have a tractor, chain saw, or other large equipment to lend. We will end each day with a “Community Potluck Picnic” in the West Side Social Hall at 5:00.

“Together, we’ve got this!”
Hope to see you there!
